This is a guest post from Becky Goddard-Hill. As well as being a very active blogger, Becky is the author of the excellent book “How to afford time off with your baby”. Thank you Becky for stopping by to share this post with my readers – given my Silent Sunday post yesterday, it seems very appropriate! 🙂
Thank so much Ruth for allowing me to guest post. My own blog Baby Budgeting is all about making and saving money as well as living as creatively as possible with an under 5 on a budget.
We wanted to share this lovely Spring activity with you
Observing frogspawn develop into frogs is one of the wonders of nature. It is illegal to collect it and bring it home and it is much better for your child to see nature develop as it should. Try and find some in a pond or canal near you and from mid March you could visit regularly with your little one to see the jelly become tadpoles and the tadpoles become frogs. In about 3 weeks your child will have seen an absolute miracle occur, what could be better? Mid March is about the time to start seeing frogspawn. Keep your eyes open and ask around!
This activity is detailed along with many, many more in my crafting, doing, arty, baking, singing, reading ebook for fun with under fives
