Apologies for being quiet around here this week – we’ve been away on holiday with some good friends. Whilst I always select holiday locations with an Internet connection where possible, I have found myself even more tired than usual in the evenings, and my great plan of getting loads of blog posts written over the course of the week has not come to fruition.
That said, it’s been an extremely good week all round. On Monday I discovered that I’d been nominated in several categories of the MAD Blog Awards. Thank you so much to everyone who has nominated me so far, I really appreciate your support. There are loads of nominated blogs, and only the 5 most nominated ones will go forward to official voting in each category, so if you’ve not nominated yet, please consider doing so.
On Tuesday my guest vlog for the Tots100 index was published, and it’s received a great reaction. I’m so pleased that lots of people have found it useful – that was the whole reason for doing it! If you’re interested in learning more about how the Tots100 index is calculated, head on over and check it out.
Then yesterday I had confirmation that I was being called to interview for a job I applied for last week, and then later on I received some information about another potential vacancy as well. Along with a possible vacancy I’m already being considered for it appears that jobs really could be like buses – after waiting for ages it seems that three have come along all at once! I’m hoping that at least one of these will become a firm offer, which would remove the threat of redundancy which is currently hanging over my head.
And finally I’m delighted that I’ve had my first two video reviews published on the UKMums.tv website. We had a great time testing Moon Dough and the Okiedog Sumo changing bag, and I hope you enjoy watching the videos.
