Almost two weeks ago I attended the CyberMummy11 event in London. It was an amazing event, in many ways. I’ve been reading everyone’s reports of the day, and the word “overwhelming” has come up time and time again. And unsurprisingly, because so much of it was overwhelming. Mostly in a good way, I hasten to add, but still overwhelming. With the help of the geekdaddy I have put together a video of my highlights of the day. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it goes some way towards capturing the spirit of CyberMummy.
If the above video doesn’t show in your reader, you can watch it on YouTube here
I suppose the question is will I go next year (well, provided Susanna, Jen and Sian have the energy and inclination to organise another one!), and to be honest I’m not sure. It was a great day in the most part, and very useful, but by the time I’ve added the cost of the ticket, the train, and a night in a hotel in London it was an expensive day out. Did I get value for money? I can’t answer that. I would certainly like to go again though – how early is too early to start canvassing for a sponsor for CyberMummy12? 😉
