It's obvious that these two love Halloween!
I have been caught by surprise by the geekdaughter’s enthusiasm for Halloween this year. She was completely oblivious to it last year, and yet this year she has been counting down the days and getting really excited about the whole thing. I’ve already shared my feelings about the whole Halloween thing, but I’m starting to feel like the minority in our house! I must confess that when Asda asked me if I wanted to try some of their Halloween cake, I was far more interested in the cake thing than in the Halloween! And I was slightly taken aback by the contents of the box that arrived. Yes, there was cake, but there was also an assortment of Halloween party accessories. Oh heck, suddenly I was actually going to have to do the Halloween thing…!

Halloween is coming. That time of year that seems to polarise more opinions than any other festival . Ghosties, ghoulies and things that go bump in the night. And trick or treating. So BritMums are asking the question for their video blogging challenge this week – do you like or loathe Halloween? This is a subject that the geekdaddy and I have very differing views on, and I don’t think we’ve yet resolved how we’re going to handle this as the kids grow older.
