Audio blog: The etiquette of bags for life

Those of you who read my blog regularly may already know this, but for the benefit of those who don’t, this is not my only blog. I also maintain an audio blog which you can find over at audioboo.fm. One of the many things I love about audioboo is being part of a small, close-knit community, interacting with each other.

Today one of my audioboo friends, the inimitable NickHollowayVox, made a throwaway comment in his  audioboo about how he felt a little naughty when taking his ASDA bags for life into his local Lidl. And it got me thinking about my use of bags for life. And I have a little confession to make…

There is an embedded audio recording beneath this text. If it doesn’t display for you, click here to access the recording directly on the web.

On supermarket bags – a response to @nickhollowayvox with a mention for @jacquelineb (mp3)

I’d love to hear your comments on this. Am I alone in keeping different bags from different stores in my car boot? Do you use bags for life? And if so, do you use them in “the wrong” shops? Let me know!

Hahaha, love this! I use to feel bad but we have Asda Children in Need bags and take them to Tesco because hey it’s still gone towards a fantastic charity even if it was from Asda.

We mostly have loads of non-brand bags and also have a black rucksack for our milk cartons so we rarely have the issue of taking another company’s branded bags into the “wrong shop”.
