I have a feeling the geekdaughter may have watched Disney’s “Lilo and Stitch” rather too many times. If you don’t know the movie Stitch is a small blue alien who manages to blend cute and fluffy with bad and evil. He ends up on Earth being looked after by a small girl, Lilo, who tries to teach him how to behave properly. There’s a scene in the movie when Lilo draws a picture to show Stitch how bad he is. “This is your badness level. It’s unusually high for someone your size. We have to fix that”. A couple of days ago, after I’d said “no” to the geekdaughter over something she disappeared for a few minutes, and re-appeared with this picture:
Thankfully I managed to redeem myself a day or so later when the geekdaughter had to go to school dressed as some kind of minibeast for their “ugly bug ball”. Thankfully a ladybird outfit is one of the few dressing up outfits that we have, but we couldn’t find the wings for it. I had to turn most of the house upside down to find them, and when I finally did I was told that my goodness tank was full again!
Until the next time I tell her “no” for something, I expect!
