Happy Easter everyone! I’m a little late publishing my weekly roundup of photos this week as we’ve had a very busy few days. Given the time of year I am not going to apologise for the number of Easter-related pictures this week! Here’s my selection of daily photos:
Sunday 29 March 2015: Time for Easter
I have a Mickey Mouse watch with interchangeable straps which was a gift from my sister-in-law many years ago, although I’ve only just started wearing it. I decided it was close enough to Easter today to put the Easter strap on.
Monday 30 March 2015: Secret Den
The kids were playing together today in my daughter’s bedroom, and I found this sign on the door. I wonder if I should tell them it’s less of a secret if they put a label on it…
Wondering if I should warn them that if they put a label on it then it’s probably not secret any more… #tw #365 89/365 A photo posted by Ruth Arnold (@r2uk) on
Tuesday 31 March 2015: Late Night Shopping
Somewhere around Christmas I was told by one of the staff at our local Aldi that the best time to shop there was after 9pm – they don’t close until 10pm, but apparently not many customers realise that, and people try to be out by 9. Since learning that I have made use of it a couple of times. It’s not the best time of day to do a big weekly shop, as they tend to be re-stocking the shelves and you sometimes can’t get at things. But when you’re running short of a few things and want to be in and out quickly it’s perfect. This evening I popped in for a few things, and it was completely deserted:
Wednesday 1 April 2015: Easter Bonnet
At Brownies tonight they were making Easter bonnets.

Thursday 2 April 2015: More Easter Bonnets
It was the last day of school before the holidays today, and both kids made Easter bonnets. My daughter won the class prize for hers, which she was delighted about!
Friday 3 April 2015: Crafting
My daughter loves crafting, but my son hasn’t shown much interest until now. Today they were both sat at the table making Easter cards, and he seemed to be having a lovely time with the glue

Saturday 4 April 2015: Ready for an egg hunt
After the kids had gone to bed this evening the geekdaddy and I set up an egg hunt for them to find in the morning. We find the fairest way of ensuring they both share the eggs is to tell them which colour is for which of them. So we left them a little note to find.
