I must confess to being somewhat confused by an envelope than came home with the geekdaughter from nursery yesterday. It seems she is getting involved with a major charity’s fundraising activity where she will plant bulbs and grow them, and also paint a decoration for her plant pot. I actually have no problem with this – it’s a charity I’m happy to support – but I am slightly confused by the fact she’s come home with a sponsorship form. How exactly does one sponsor a pot plant?!
